Folio is a board for the Mac where a whole project fits on one sheet. Notes, lists, colours and arrows, side by side. Under half a megabyte, built only with what macOS already has, and no account: your boards stay on your Mac.

Version 0.1, early preview · 344 KB · macOS 14 or later · Free

A Folio board with notes, a cobalt colour swatch, a checklist and a sub-board, joined by arrows

An endless sheet. Two fingers to move, pinch to zoom. It stays smooth with ten thousand cards.

Things you can hold. Cards lift when you grab them and settle when you let go.

Light and dark. Follows your Mac, and both are drawn with the same care.

How to open it

  1. Open Folio-0.1.dmg and drag Folio to Applications.
  2. Open Folio. The first time, macOS says it can’t check who made it.
  3. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and press Open Anyway. You only do this once.
